One of my favorite recent drop-offs was one for Abigail Catherine. Her mother-in-law had ordered the stork and wanted it there when the happy parents and baby got home from the hospital. Of course, it was downpouring the morning they were coming home. But, we still delivered (and yes, I was soaking wet afterwards!)

One of my favorite pick-ups was one for Arlo Lewis. When I dropped his stork off, there was no snow and it was a mildly warm day. Then when I went to pick it up, there was a beautiful dusting of snow on the ground from the year’s first snow. Is there anything more beautiful that holding a newborn and watching the first snow of the year outside?!

As I launched my business, one fun goal that I set was selling two blue and two pink stork signs so that I could officially name my fleet of storks (I have two blue and two pink ones). I am proud to say that my fleet of storks are named Poppy, Louisa, Caden and Travis. Could these names get any better?!

While our storks are always customized with bundles to the home they are delivered to, these internal names will help me keep track of where all the storks are at any given time. Think of these names as their inventory code (ha!)

One of our favorite locally owned small businesses is Miggy’s Bakes, a bakery that recently opened their first location in Middleton, WI. They make delicious desserts, cakes, etc! We have been a customer of Miggy’s for several years and were so excited to see that they were opening a location near us. Our family favorites at Miggy’s are the Caramel Bar and the Nutella Cookie Cup. They are both SOOOOO delicious!
